To celebrate Iannis Xenakis' 100th birthday and the opening of the new Speicher XIA building at Hochschule für Künste Bremen, we students from the University of the Arts Bremen engaged with his work "Polytope de Cluny (1972)," an early landmark in immersive digital media art.

We developed a light installation inspired by Xenakis' project, giving it a new, digital twist. Our setup included 8 moving heads, 4 high-performance projectors, 12 custom-made motorized motors, and various other lighting and media technologies. We also processed the original soundtracks on a 32-channel 3D speaker system and created new spatial audio compositions that reflect Xenakis' ideas.

As a member of the projection team, I was responsible for light composition and projection content. Inspired by Xenakis, we used projections to create volumetric light with dynamic animations, bringing his work to life in a modern, digital format.

Chi Him Chik is a transdisciplinary media artist, performer, and fellow student of mine from Hochschule für Künste Bremen. I contributed his project "Aiii_v3.8686∅" by developing visual content for the immersive performance. Using TouchDesigner, I created generative visuals that incorporated real-time parameters through OCS provided by Chi Him during the performance. This allowed me to produce dynamic visuals, supporting the overall experience of his captivating performance.
