It was one of the darkest times in human history. We lived in constant fear of death and isolation. Breathing fresh air under sunlight became an unspeakable crime, so I turned into a nocturnal creature. Sneaking out at night, I ran and laughed under the moonlight, cherishing those moments of precious freedom. When the whole world shut down, it seemed like the only escape from the sealed space. In Swedish, "mångata" refers to the road-like reflection of the moon on the water. Mångata symbolizes my experience during the pandemic and how I found solace through other gateways, offering hope to see the end of the tunnel.
